Everything you need to know about our fine art prints and our service
What is the quality of the prints?
Our prints are produced on premium Fine Art paper (cotton-based matte paper or satin baryta paper depending on the desired look) using professional pigment inks guaranteed not to fade for over 100 years under normal display conditions. Printing reaches a very high resolution to render the finest details, subtle gradients and deep blacks. Each print is inspected individually before shipping for colour density, sharpness and the absence of any defect.
What is a limited edition?
Each photograph is released in a maximum of 30 numbered copies, all sizes combined. In practice, the 12th print sold will be marked 12/30, whether it is an A4 or an A2. Once all 30 copies are sold, the work is permanently withdrawn from sale and never reprinted. This scarcity guarantees the value and exclusivity of your acquisition, like a true collector's piece.
What sizes are available?
We offer four standard sizes: 10×15 cm (card size, ideal for a bedside table or desk), A4 (21×29.7 cm), A3 (29.7×42 cm) and A2 (42×59.4 cm, for a bold presence on a wall). A white border is kept around the image to make framing easier and to preserve the signature. The final size may vary slightly according to the original aspect ratio of the photograph, so the image is never cropped or distorted.
Do you offer framing?
Yes. We offer quality wooden frames (light oak or matte black) with a conservation-grade mat board and anti-reflective glass that protects the print from UV. Each frame is assembled by hand and shipped ready to hang, with the hanging system included. You can also choose the print only if you prefer to have it framed by your own framer.
Can I order a custom size or a photo that is not in the shop?
Yes, that is entirely possible. For a specific size (beyond A2, panoramic, a particular ratio) or for a photograph seen on our social media but not published in the shop, write to us via the Contact page specifying the work and the dimensions you want. We check that the file resolution allows a flawless fine art print at the requested size, then send you a personalised quote within 48 hours.
How do I care for and preserve my print?
To preserve your print for decades, avoid direct sunlight as well as sources of heat or humidity (bathroom, above a radiator). Handle it by the edges with clean hands or cotton gloves, as fingerprints can mark Fine Art paper. Under anti-UV glass and in a normal living room, the pigment inks keep their colours for over 100 years. Simply dusting the frame with a soft, dry cloth is all the maintenance needed.
Do I receive a certificate of authenticity?
Yes, each print comes with a numbered certificate of authenticity, signed by hand. It states the title of the work, the place and year it was taken, the edition number (for example 12/30), the size, and the type of paper and inks used. This official document attests to the originality of your print and accompanies the work in the event of resale or transfer.
What is the delivery time?
As each print is made to order, allow 5 to 7 business days for production (printing, drying, quality control, signature and numbering), then shipping: 3 to 5 business days within mainland France and 7 to 14 days internationally. Framed prints may require an extra 2 to 3 days for assembly. You receive an email at every step, from production to dispatch.
How are the prints packaged?
Your prints benefit from premium shock-resistant packaging designed for shipping artwork. Unframed prints up to A3 are rolled crease-free in a reinforced rigid cardboard tube; large formats and framed prints travel flat in a protective crate with reinforced corners and a protective film. Every shipment is insured and tracked to your door.
How can I track my order?
As soon as it ships, you receive a tracking number by email allowing you to locate your parcel in real time until delivery. Beforehand, we let you know when your order goes into production. If you have not received your confirmation, please check your spam folder, or contact us directly with your order number.
Are there customs fees for international orders?
For deliveries within the European Union, no customs fees apply. For orders outside the EU (Switzerland, United Kingdom, United States, etc.), customs duties and local taxes may be charged by the destination country: these are payable by the recipient and depend on local regulations. We always declare the exact value on the shipping slip to avoid any hold-up at customs.
Which payment methods do you accept and is payment secure?
We accept credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) as well as the main digital wallets. All payments are processed through a PCI-DSS certified platform with SSL encryption: your banking details never pass through our servers and are never stored. Your card is only charged once the order is confirmed.
What is your return policy?
Because of the personalised nature of our prints (made to order, numbered and signed), they cannot be returned or exchanged once produced: the right of withdrawal does not apply to custom-made goods. However, if your print has a manufacturing defect or was damaged in transit, contact us within 48 hours of receipt with photos: we will replace it free of charge as quickly as possible.
Can the prints be given as a gift?
Yes, a limited-edition fine art print makes a memorable and lasting gift. You can have it delivered directly to the recipient of your choice by entering their address at checkout; no document mentioning the price is ever slipped into the parcel. On request via the Contact page, we can include a personalised note. The certificate of authenticity adds a precious dimension to the gift.
