Best season
Best period: mid-June to mid-July, at lavender bloom peak. Ideal shooting times: early morning (6h-9h) for soft light and mist, late afternoon/sunset (18h-21h) for golden light. Avoid midday (12h-16h) when light is harsh and fields crowded. Check bloom status before visiting as it varies yearly.
Recommended equipment
Camera + wide-angle lens (16-35mm) for landscape and rows, standard lens (24-70mm) for composition variety, telephoto (70-200mm) for details and farmhouses. Tripod for sharp shots and long exposures, polarizing filter to intensify colors and reduce reflections, graduated ND filters for sky management. Sun protection and water essential in summer.
